Here's more about me
I’m a leader, coach, consultant, author, speaker, and pastor dedicated to unlocking your future and fulfillment.
The back story
Imagine what happens inside you when your family suffers through divorce multiple times, drugs countless times, death at the wrong time, and defeat all the time. Given these circumstances, most people talk about what didn’t work. Chris’s story defies the odds as he turns negatives into positives, relentlessly pursuing a life that proves love works, life works, leadership works, and legacy works.
Founder of Highpoint Church
Chris and Karin Conlee started Highpoint Church in 2002. It quickly became known as a perfect place for imperfect people. Perhaps that’s the reason the church averaged over 4,500 people in three locations every weekend under Chris and Karin’s leadership.
Chris’s entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to start the Highpoint Leadership Institute, the LeadershipWorks Conference, and the Healing Wounded History Conference, as well as being one of the founding members of the Memphis Christian Pastors Network. Chris also enjoys serving as a Trustee for Lead Like Jesus, and co-hosting two podcasts with his wife, Karin: Lead Like Jesus and LoveWorks.
Chris regularly teaches at conferences and retreats in the church, non-profits and the corporate world. His self-published book, Priority Time: Addicted to God’s Word, has revolutionized people’s understanding of how to have a “devotional time,” and is a valuable resource for anyone who desires to spend time with God daily through the Word and in prayer. Chris is currently finishing his second book called LoveWorks: The Key to Making Life Work.
Chris currently serves as an Executive Leader for Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (FCCi) and Ergon412 with a focus on Minority Leadership Development, Women’s Leadership Development, and Emerging Leader Development. In addition to these areas of focus, Chris also leads retreats and conferences as well as serving as a writer and teacher for FCCi and Ergon412
